Crave is the newest hotspot of Castle Rock restaurants. It is a burger joint and you can order a traditional burger and enjoy sports on the TVs. However, this Castle Rock restaurant is really set apart from the rest by its creative and over the top menu.
Crave was opened by the same people that run The Old Stone Church, a classic gem of the Castle Rock restaurant scene. Crave had big shoes to fill, but it has been more than successful and will open another location in the near future. The success of this restaurant lies in its food. Diners are guaranteed a unique and delicious meal. Visiting Crave should be on the top of anyone’s list of things to do in Castle Rock. It’s more than a restaurant, it’s an experience.
The menu at Crave is strange but fascinating. There is the “Luther” which substitutes glazed donuts in place of the traditional hamburger bun, the “New Mexico” which is smothered in green chili, and the “Nutty Professor” which features peanut butter, bacon and jalapenos. For a different take on an American classic try the “Fatty Melt”. It’s just like a Patty Melt but instead of bread, each bun is made of a grilled cheese sandwich- and it’s a double-decker. Vegetarians have nothing to fear either; there are a few options for the herbivores. The “Boulder Burger” is a portabella mushroom burger and it excites visitors as much as any other menu item. Salads and sandwiches are also available.
A burger would be nothing without French Fries, and this Castle Rock restaurant does not disappoint. Crave has classic French Fries and Sweet Potato Fries. Toppings available for French Fries include gravy, green chili and cheese and Philly Cheesesteak. If all of this cholesterol seems to be a bit much, substitute a side salad for French Fries. It’s hard to save room for all of the must-try items at Crave. The “Velvet Elvis” is a milkshake that has bacon in it; it’s too hard to pass up. This Castle Rock restaurant is the type that keeps visitors coming back for more. Everything on the menu is worth a try. If a person does try every burger on the menu and keeps track of it by using their Crave punch card, they’ll get a free T-shirt and a free burger. The punch card is another aspect of this Castle Rock restaurant that adds to its fun and unique dining experience.
Crave is located at 3982 Limelight Avein Castle Rock, CO. It is right next to a movie theater, so make a night out visiting Crave and checking out the newest release. Crave is a burger restaurant, but it offers more than the pay-at-the-counter type of place. It has full table service and a full bar. For this reason, and because of the large and incredible meals, Crave runs a little bit more expensive than other burger restaurants, around $10 for a meal. Crave has given Castle Rock a new and interesting restaurant that offers a truly unique dining experience. Visit Crave any day from 11:00am-9:00pm.
