Restaurant Review: Old Stone Church Restaurant
You will love this restaurant. We visited the Old Stone Church Restaurant in Downtown Castle Rock. Here is our review of this great restaurant.
You will love this restaurant. We are sure you will become a return visitor once you experience the kitchen and the service of the Old Stone Church Restaurant. The food is slightly on the expensive side, but the excellent quality of the dishes and drinks is well worth the price. The kitchen offers a light southwestern influence in the cuisine. The ambiance is very unique, because it is in an old renovated church (as you can hint from the name of the restaurant already). The former church offers the original stained glass windows that were already there when this building was serving a different purpose.
The restaurant is located in downtown Castle Rock (near the Douglas County Administration building) in an old church building built in 1888. The Old Stone Church has gone through some owner ship changes over the years, but as we now understand it is back in the hands of an previous owner. The quality of the service are back to very high standards and long-time customers are coming back more and more often. The service has always been outstanding, both in the main restaurant and in the Chaplain's bar when we visited. The wine and drink selection is of high quality. You will not be disappointed enjoying a nice dinner at the Old Stone Church Restaurant in Castle Rock.
