The Old Stone Church


The Old Stone Church is an historical must see Castle Rock restaurant. The restaurant is located in a converted nineteenth century church which was the very first church in Castle Rock and was originally called St. Francis of Assisi. The atmosphere provided by this unique architectural structure is intimate and cozy.  The food at The Old Stone Church is American with a Southwestern twist.  People in Castle Rock trust this restaurant for special occasions, date nights and its superb happy hour.

Everyday from 3:00pm-6:00pm The Old Stone Church hosts the best happy hour in Castle Rock.  Drinks are cheap; a glass of wine could cost only $3.  Local Rockyard brews are available at a discounted price.  Delectable appetizers are only $5 and the chef is not skimpy on the portions.  Some favorites of the happy hour bar menu are the Pepperjack Queso Fundido, the Crispy Sweet and Sour Calamari, the Cajun Blackened Tuna, the Shrimp Enchiladas and the Grilled Brie Cheese.  Some people come here only for happy hour, and even just to sit in the bar when items are full price.  Past 6:00pm the bar is still a great option for eating.  The bartenders are friendly and provide great service.  The bar area is separated from the restaurant and the atmosphere is a little more casual.  Order a few appetizers between two people and appetites should be quelled.  TheOldStoneChurchalso offers a late night happy hour on Fridays and Saturdays from 9:00pm-10:00pm.
